Beneficiaries Named for 2008 Festival

Four non-profit organizations will benefit from the proceeds of the 2008 All Colorado Beer Festival. They are THEATREWORKS, the Empty Stocking Fund, Operation Homefront, and Trails & Open Space Coalition.

THEATREWORKS is the professional theatre located on the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs campus. Each year they present eight of the best theatrical productions in the region. They are regularly recognized as the best theatre company in Colorado Springs and often win awards from Denver as well.

The Empty Stocking Fund provides funds to a number of non-profit organizations during the holiday season. The Gazette and the El Pomar Foundation jointly manage and support this valuable activity. Each of the dollars we contribute will receive a partial match in additional funds.

Operation Homefront works across the country to provide assistance to the families of our military left behind while the active duty member is posted away from home. Our contribution will go to the Colorado Springs chapter to benefit our local military families.

Trails & Open Space Coalition endeavors to maintain and create trails and open spaces in Colorado Springs. We are very excited to be a part of their valuable activities.
